WINTER PARK — Laura Peddie-Bravo, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, (LMHC), a Nationally Certified Counselor, (NCC), and founder of The Bravo Counseling Group, LLC based in Winter Park will join The Crossman Conversation Saturday, May 31 at 1:05 p.m.
Peddie-Bravo founded The Bravo Counseling Group, LLC in 2013. She offers outpatient counseling services to individuals, couples, and families in the Central Florida area. She approaches counseling from a wellness perspective and considers the whole person throughout the counseling process with close attention to a client’s mental, physical and spiritual state.
Peddie-Bravo has extensive experience working with individuals who experience depression, anxiety, eating disorders, victims of crime, domestic violence, trauma and negative thinking. She specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and finds it especially effective.
Despite increased awareness and treatment availability, mental health conditions continue to worsen. “I want to bring as much light as possible to this problem that has been amplified recently by economic conditions in the wake of the pandemic,” Crossman said.
